Sewing, Sewing & Simon Pegg

I had a busy family type week but got to finish two Raven bag and a Star Wars bag. Both are pretty awesome in my opinion. Next up I'll be making a new Tardis bag with embroidery, Hello Kitty, Dachshunds and possible Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Next weekend we are going to the fair and there's a Star Trek exhibit. So I'm thinking I should bring my new Star Trek bag and see if we can get some interested parties :-)
Speaking of.... well nothing related but whatever, have you seen the movie The World's End? IT IS SO AMAZING!!!! Those guys are so funny and great, I laughed the whole time. Even with a super obnoxious lady behind me that laughed at not even funny parts. I wanted to smack her upside the head. Anyway, I know I can't be the only one that thought this angsty, trech coat wearing, black haired Simon Pegg was totally hot, right? Don't get me wrong, I love the geek adorable Simon Pegg too, but this brought a whole new dimension to it! Sign me up!
In case you're curious, this is what I'm talking about, Willis:
And now it's Sunday night, I have work tomorrow and school to do and more bags to cut and make. Must keep moving forward! I will be attempting at some point to photograph these bags properly and do them some justice. Until then, here's a little peak:

Good night friendsies.

On a Roll......

I made my first messenger bag the other day. I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. Although it could be better, there's some stitches showing that I don't like and I'm apparently really shitty at cutting straight lines. I'll work on that. I cut two more bags today, ironed and added interfacing. I cut a few some zipper pouches too. Hopefully tomorrow I can sew them all up. Got some really cute fabric, some Doctor Who, some Star Wars, some comic book and some dachshunds!
I'm working on Christmas knitting also, I've been working on a cardigan for like two weeks now for a Christmas gift. There's like a million freaking stitches on the needles right now. I'll be binding off for the sleeves soon, Thank GOD. Here's some progress pics!
